As long as I can remember, I liked to draw. I was always a fan of 80’s cartoons and would try to draw my favorite Transformer or G.I.Joe or Ninja Turtle, but I never dreamed of becoming anything other than a traditional artist.
After a friend introduced me to comics in the late 80’s, my imagination exploded when I realized that people made a living drawing comic books. And so my journey began!
Chasing my dream meant following in the footsteps of my favorite artists, many of whom were the founders of Image Comics—Todd McFarlane, Jim Lee, Whilce Portacio, and yes, even Rob Liefeld! I eventually discovered many more amazing comic book artist and I’ve been drawing comic art ever since.
I never got as far as making a living by drawing, but I’ve had some of my work published and worked on Marvel properties doing sketch cards for Upper Deck. I’ve also self published a few comics.
Currently, I’m working on my creator owned book called Alpha Red. You can pick up the latest issues right here!

For sure! Are you drawing issue #2?
Carlo Garde is doing the interiors for #2, I've been thinking very seriously about doing the interiors for #3!
Been increasingly sidelined since 2016. Imagine my surprise when i saw your "like comment" and came by to check out your latest - whoa! I thought you had turned in the pencils for family time, but I see NOT! Haha. You are like a glacier, man. Moving slowly, yet inexorably toward the goal. Profile page rocks. I thought I'd been whisked away to your private website!
